4 березня в межах міжнародної співпраці кафедри англійської мови з Peace Corps відбулося чергове засідання Speaking Club.
Прикметною особливістю зустрічі стала активна взаємодія українських студентів зі студентом-іноземцем зі США, що забезпечило безпосередній міжкультурний діалог та автентичність комунікації. Такий формат сприяв глибшому розумінню особливостей освітньої системи Сполучених Штатів Америки, студентського життя, дозвілля, академічних традицій та індивідуального освітнього досвіду.
Упродовж зустрічі здобувачі активно ставили запитання щодо структури системи освіти, тривалості навчання, улюблених предметів, феномену gap year, організації шкільних заходів, а також різних аспектів повсякденного студентського життя.
Формат відкритої дискусії створив умови для розвитку спонтанного мовлення (off-the-cuff speaking), гнучкості мислення та формування soft skills. Особливо ефективним є peer-to-peer intercultural learning, який забезпечує ефект мовного занурення та сприяє формуванню впевненості у реальному міжкультурному спілкуванні. Така колаборація істотно підвищує ефективність навчання, поєднуючи мовну практику, культурологічний компонент і розвиток комунікативної компетентності.
